Following the tests conducted, Diego López has been diagnosed with a sprain to the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his left knee, sustained during training last Saturday.
The Valencia winger will now undergo a course of medical treatment, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation at the club’s training facilities. He will rejoin the squad once he has made sufficient progress.
